Scala (formerly known as TapasTheater) offers a solution for professional theatre makers who do have something to offer, but cannot find an affordable performance space to show it to an audience. In addition to being a springboard for new talent, established names are also very welcome to work on new repertoire at Scala.

Scala offers, among other things:

– A (free) stage to present yourself and really perform your material well;
– PR boost (incl. photography);
– Access to new audiences;
– A network of interesting professionals from which new collaborations have regularly emerged;
– Revenue (percentage of ticket sales).

Every year, approximately 60 theater makers are guided/stimulated by Scala in their (cultural) entrepreneurship.
