Scala is a theater restaurant in Amsterdam-West, or even better: a food bar and theater in one. A night out where you combine short theater performances with shared dining and your favourite drinks, entirely at your own pace. The concept is our own invention: you won't find it anywhere else but in Amsterdam.

Looking for a dinner show? You're more than welcome, though at Scala things work just a little differently. In the intimate theaters in our basement, several twenty-minute performances play every night, in changing genres: from comedy to drama and from music to magic. You choose what you see and when. And yes, your drink is welcome to join you in the theater.

Before, between and after the shows, you settle in at your own table in the ground-floor restaurant for a delicious shared dining experience. Our drinks list features more than 25 wines, plus cocktails and mocktails. And the kitchen? It doesn't close until the last guest has finished eating.
