Scala is a unique theatre restaurant in Amsterdam. You combine short performances with delicious food and your favorite drinks. A special evening out!

Scala is reminiscent of a dinner show, but with a fun twist: the performances take place in separate theatre rooms in our basement. Various genres are featured, from cabaret to music and from theatre to musicals. Before, between and/or after the performances, you can enjoy a delicious shared-dining menu in the restaurant. Scala also has an extensive drinks menu with over 25 wines and various cocktails and mocktails. By the way, our kitchen only closes when the last guest has finished eating.

Each performance lasts approximately 20 minutes. You can visit multiple performances per evening. That makes the experience complete!

Please note: We only offer English-language performances on Thursdays and Fridays. On Wednesdays and Saturdays, our shows are in Dutch.

We're open Wednesday through Saturday from 6:00 PM onwards. This gives you time to order a drink and enjoy the atmosphere in our foodbar before your performance starts.
